Furniture Refresh

We bought this sofa and chair from a consignment shop a while back.  I like it.  Joel does not.  It worked better in our old house than our current one.  We have decided that we really need a sectional.  So we posted the sofa and chair on Craigslist, and found a new owner for it very very quickly.   They were thrilled, we were thrilled, and our living room was open for the new sectional.

Here is the Sofa and Chair that we sent on to a new home.

We went on the hunt for the sectional----and what a hunt it was.  It think we spent 10 hours going furniture store to furniture store, and we kept coming up empty handed.  We went to Sprintz, Ethan Allen, Rooms to Go, Lazy Boy, and just about every other furniture store we could think of.  We tried the consignment shops, the ridiculously overpriced places, and everywhere in between.  Finally, after giving up, I found exactly what I was look for as another great find from Overtstock.com.  I called them to find out what our return options were if we weren't happy with it, and decided it was worth the risk.  However, it took FOREVER to come in (they said up to 8 weeks, and they weren't kidding!), but we love it, and it really maximizes our seating space, since our living room isn't extremely big. It is all distressed italian leather, and very soft and comfortable.  It is exactly 60 x 60, which is the exact size I was looking for, and couldn't find at any store.  We also like the bun feet, and stitching.  It was just exactly what we were looking for.
